Former Wisconsin running back Montee Ball was arrested Friday morning on tentative charges of substantial battery, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
According to the State Journal's report, Ball was arrested at the Hampton Hotel and Suites on 440 West Johnson St. in Madison after police were called to the hotel early Friday morning. The caller, Ball's girlfriend, alleged the former Wisconsin standout pushed her into a table, which cut her leg.
