Herblock, the heir to Thomas Nast's throne as the king of the
editorial cartoon, died Sunday night in Washington, D.C., at 91.
The Washington Post cartoonist covered 13 presidents, from Hoover
to George W. Bush. At right, a cartoon of President Nixon, one of
his favorite (or least favorite) subjects.
