Fans respect heightened football game security

Heightened security measures at Camp Randall Stadium did not appear to cause problems at Saturday's football game, as most crowd members reached their seats before kickoff.

In response to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, UW-Madison officials imposed the new regulations that led to searches of many fans' purses, fanny packs and vehicles Saturday. Also, airplanes were prohibited from flying over the stadium.
