The Associated Students of Madison's Student Judiciary board heard the case of Modell v. Student Council Sunday.
Matt Modell, a UW-Madison junior, filed a complaint Sept. 16 against ASM's Student Council claiming discrimination based on political ideology after being denied an open position on Student Judiciary.
Jeff Pertl, UW-Madison senior and counsel for the defense, said Modell's character and relationship with student groups were determining factors as to what kind of Student Judiciary member Modell would make.
Camacho said lying was a description of Modell's character in previous personal interactions on the Student Services Finance Committee, on which both sit, but did not give a specific example when Modell asked for one.
