Wisconsin will send another player to the NFL as a free agent. Senior wide receiver and kick returner Nick Davis signed with the Minnesota Vikings April 23.
As a Badger, Davis recorded 30 catches for 378 yards and three touchdowns in his senior season. He also returned 27 kicks for 595 yards and was a finalist for the Mosi Tatupu Award, which is awarded to the top special teams player in the nation.
The men's tennis team found success in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament, as they crushed Iowa 4-0 to advance to the second round against No. 2 Ohio State.
The Badgers took the doubles point with wins from the team of seniors Justin Baker and Danny Westerman, as well as freshman Alex Kasarov and sophomore David Hippee. The No. 1 doubles match was abandoned.
Although three singles matches were abandoned as well, the Badgers earned victories from Westerman, senior Scott Rutherford and Hippee.
