Falk at top of PAC contribution list

State election board records show that Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk has raised more money from special interest groups than any of the three other gubernatorial candidates, according to an Associated Press review.

Since the beginning of 2002, Falk has raised just under $160,000 from political action committees, with a large portion of that amount coming from a $43,000 donation from Emily's List, which supports female candidates nation wide.

Among the other candidates, state Attorney General Jim Doyle has raised $108,419 during the first eight months of 2002. Doyle's biggest monetary supporter is the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin. They contributed $10,200 dollars to his campaign.
