The No.16-ranked Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team fell to the Fightin' Illini of Illinois this weekend in Champaign-Urbana. Wisconsin had a season-high 29 unforced hitting errors and were held to .151 hitting percentage against Illinois. One bright spot was freshman middle blocker Lauren Ford who had a career-high six blocks against Illinois.
Against Purdue the Badgers defeated the Boilermakers in West Lafayette and improved their Big Ten record to 1-1. Erin Byrd led all players with 15 kills against Purdue.
