More than 40 people were ejected from Saturday's homecoming football game between UW-Madison and Ohio State.
Though higher than usual, the number is still lower than the Oct. 7 game between UW-Madison and Penn State, where UW Police removed 63 people.
Only six UW-Madison students were ejected, though a total of 23 people were ejected for drinking, seven for being in the wrong section and two other for throwing items.
Various infractions caused the removal of remainder of the remaining violators.
Despite the low number of student ejections, they made up the majority of citations issued by the police. Of the 27 citations issued, 21 were given to students. The primary source for the infractions came from 19 underage drinking citations.
Other infractions such as false identification, smoking, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana made up the remainder of the citations.
