Wisconsin reps chide Bush plan

Three Wisconsin Democrats in the U.S. Congress have voiced opposition to the newly worded resolution giving President Bush authority to invade Iraq, while a Republican representative said he would support the plan.

U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., and Representatives Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, and Jerry Kleczka, D-Milwaukee, all said Wednesday they would not vote in favor of the resolution which was agreed upon by Bush and congressional leaders.

However, Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Janesville, said he believes the new resolution effectively limited the scope of power the President would possess during a war against Iraq.
