Ejected bar patron breaks through squad car window

Madison Police officers were called to the Kollege Klub Bar, 529 N. Lake St., at 11:40 p.m. Saturday night after 22 year-old Robert Tucker threw a can of chewing tobacco, hitting and injuring a female employee in the head.

Employees informed police that the suspect had made a disturbance in the bar earlier in the night. He was then asked to leave the establishment and threw the can of chewing tobacco as he was leaving. Employees identified Tucker as the suspect.

When officers approached Tucker he resisted arrest, struggled with the officers. After being placed in the backseat of a marked squad car, Tucker kicked out the window of the back door. Tucker was held on counts of disorderly conduct, battery, damage to property and resisting an officer. He was taken to Dane County Jail.
