Nineteen-year-old UW-Stout freshman Jeremy Prange appeared in court Monday after University Police found 11 pipe bombs in his dorm room Friday.
Prange said he intended them to blow up pumpkins.
Prange appeared in Dunn County Circuit Court Monday and was released on a $5,000 signature bond. No charges have been filed.

Luke Helder, another student who went to UW-Stout is accused of placing 18 pipe bombs in mailboxes across the country last spring.
UW-Stout officials said there is no connection between the two.
