AP official Wolman to speak at commencement

UW-Madison alumnus and senior vice president of The Associated Press Jonathan Wolman will speak at both mid-year commencement ceremonies Dec. 22. 

 

 

 

Student receiving masters, doctoral and professional degrees and those receiving undergraduate degrees from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and the Schools of Education, Human Ecology, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy will participate in a ceremony at 10 a.m. at the Kohl Center. 

 

 

 

Those receiving undergraduate degrees from the School of Business, the College of Engineering and the College of Letters and Science will be awarded at the 2 p.m. ceremony.

\I'm sure they are pumped up about their upcoming transitions, but anxious about the job market, looming war clouds and threats to security,"" Wolman said. 

 

 

 

Wolman graduated from UW-Madison in 1972 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. Wolman served as editor in chief of The Daily Cardinal while on campus.
