Bush claims evidence of weapons

The White House Thursday again claimed it has solid evidence that Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction, the Associated Press reported.

President Bush and his advisors declined to reveal what evidence they have, but White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer said the United States would turn its findings over to weapons inspectors.

The announcement fueled speculation that Bush will ask the U.N. Security Council to act against Iraq, but the President did not confirm those claims.
