For the second year in a row, UW-Madison is the nation's top volunteer producing school, according to Peace Corps Director Gaddi H. Vasquez. 

 

 

 

UW-Madison leads the large school category after sending 123 graduates to the Peace Corps last year. The University of Michigan is second in the category.

A group of UW-Madison accounting students, faculty and staff, in cooperation with retired certified public accountants and the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, will offer free federal and state income-tax help through April 15 at the UW-Madison Community Partnerships Office, 2300 S. Park St. Suite #9. 

 

 

 

People should bring all tax information, including their W-2 wage statements, information on other sources of income, interest and dividend statements, deduction and tax-credit documentation, Social Security cards and tuition-payment statements in order to get assistance.
