Well, well, Mike Jones. We meet again. It's pretty difficult to \keep up with the Jones"" when you choose to write on topics you know so little about or you are just bitter about the Badgers blowing their season.
I too attended the Wisconsin-Northwestern game on Saturday in Evanston and I had a different reaction. Raised in Evanston and a Northwestern University fan, I opted to wear red to the game only to be embarrassed by Badger fans yelling ""Go back to the library"" after the game. Could we be a little more original please?
It's kind of ironic because I bet you'll never guess where I was when I read your article... yup, that's right: College Library. As for the partying... I didn't know that you needed a formal invitation to the hot-spot of NU's tailgating. You are right in that NU might not make the Princeton Review that we Wisconsinites are so proud of, but I know I was in the NU parking lot with a beer and a brat in hand by 9:30 a.m.
Now back in January in a response to me, you wrote, ""I was merely stating that Chicagoans should not hold this holier-then-thou attitude in dealing with Wisconsinites."" It seems to me that you are the one holding the holier-then-thou attitude because you can sing a couple cheers and take down a couple beers. And as I've said it before Mike, as one talking from the ""pitstop"" to greatness, stop drinking the ""haterade"" and realize that nobody asked you to come to Evanston in the first place.
