A female quarterback will lead one of the teams in the national children's Pop Warner football tournament this week, a first in the league's 56-year history.
Eleven-year-old Jasmine Plummer of Harvey, Ill., has taken the Junior Pee Wee League Harvey Colts to an 11-1 record.
The team's next stop is the National Junior Pee Wee League Championship in Florida. Plummer's teammates told the Associated Press they do not think it is any big deal having a girl quarterback.
