Six women and five men have signed national letters of intent to play for the respective Badgers soccer programs in the coming fall.
Men's Head Coach Jeff Rohrman's class of five are all listed as forwards/midfielders, giving the team depth on offense. Each player shows experience with the Olympic Development Program.
\This is an exciting class,"" Rohrman said. ""They are all exceptional soccer players and are capable of making the jump to the next level right away.""
Women's soccer inked six recruits, four from Wisconsin, two of which were from Madison.
""As a whole, this group is well-rounded in terms of positions,"" UW women's Head Coach Dean Duerst said. ""We've got a goalkeeper, two [defenders], two forwards, plus forwards can play midfield. With that kind of versatility they're really going to help the strength of the overall team.""
