UW-Madison sophomore men's basketball guard Maurice \Boo"" Wade was charged with bail-jumping Monday in the Dane County Circuit Court in connection with pending misdemeanor battery charges.
According to WKOW Channel 27 News, Wade allegedly had contact with his accuser, violating the terms of his signature bond.
Madison Police Sgt. Steve Beavers said the penalties for bail-jumping can be ""quite severe.""
