The National Republican Senatorial Committee is planning to spend $1.23 million on political TV ads promoting U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold's opponent Tim Michels, according to WisPolitics.
\There is no reason to believe they will not run the most negative campaign in the history of Wisconsin,"" said Feingold spokesperson John Kraus.
The same agency that produced the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ads will be producing the Michels spots, and the Michels campaign said it has asked outside groups not to use negative ads.
