Q: Is it true that the taurine in Red Bull gives you energy?

The energy Red Bull supplies can be attributed to caffeine. While the short-term effects of caffeine may help you through an all-nighter, its diuretic effects can leave you dehydrated and sluggish. There is more hype than fact behind taurine; if you want caffeine, go to Starbucks.
