There appeared to be some sort of mix-up regarding this week's new beer. The label read \McEwan's Scotch Ale."" However, with an alcohol content nearly double that of Miller Lite, the New Beer Thursdays team assumed the bottle should have read ""McEwan's Scotch (and Ale).""
The taste certainly backed this sentiment-McEwan's has a kick that asserts its dark flavor. However, this is a supremely satisfying ale that one taste tester remarked was a ""beer-drinking beer.""
