Two Hearted ale is, without a doubt, the most appropriately named beer in history. There is a reason why we gave it two ratings. The New Beer Thursday taste team could not come to a consensus-literally half the group loved the beer, the other half threw up in their mouths.
Two Hearted Ale starts off smoothly enough, but without warning shifts to one of the most unique and indescribable tastes to ever come from a pale ale. You will either love this beer or hate it, not only because of the crazy taste, but because there is a fish on the label. And you know how people are about fish.
