Wilkinson
A consensus first team All Big Ten selection, Mike Wilkinson left UW as the second player in school history to score 1,500 points and grab 800 rebounds. His tantalizing low post play will be missed in the Wisconsin frontcourt for many years to come.
Hanson
A deadly outside threat and a tough defender, Clayton Hanson ranked first in the Big Ten in 3-point percentages and was named to the Syracuse Regional All-Tournament team.
Chambliss
Sharif Chambliss came over from Penn State for a chance to win with his home-state team. The guard from Racine finished ninth in Big Ten 3-point percentage and finished with an assist/turnover ratio of 2.32, the sixth best mark in school history.
Morley
Zach Morley was named to the Big Ten All-Tournament team, averaging 15 points and scoring a career-high 23 points against Ohio State. The lanky, shaggy-haired forward provided a spark for the Badgers with his range and ball-handling skills.
Helmigk
In Andreas Helmigk, the Badgers lost a serviceable big man off the bench. Nicknamed \Smooth,"" the Austrian center provided a capable rebounder and defender when Wilkinson was in need of rest.
Krabbenhoft
UW's top recruit, Joe Krabbenhoft is a 6'7'player who was first team all-state in South Dakota twice in his high school career. Named Gatorade state player of the year, he averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds and four assists per game.
Williams
DeAaron Williams sat out last year as a redshirt and will now get a chance to display his skills as a seasoned guard in Bo Ryan's offense. The former Illinois Mr. Basketball nominee averaged 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists in his senior year.
Cain
A high school teammate of Tanner Bronson, Morris Cain earned honorable mention all-area and first team all-conference in his senior year. In each of his three seasons as a varsity player, Nicolet High School won conference titles.
Gullikson
Kevin Gullikson averaged 20 points and nearly 10 rebounds as a senior at Stillwater Area High School. ""Gully"" marched Stillwater to a 20-10 record and earned them a conference championship.
Landry
A high-flying forward from Vincent High School, March Landry averaged 16 points and six rebounds as a senior. He led his team to the Division I State title game last year and to the semifinals in his junior year.
