Madison, consistently rated the country's No. 1 party school, has a reputation for drunkeness that is not altogether undeserved.  

 

Despite recent police crackdowns, students continue to gather for house parties that at times are overcrowded, and overheated. Despite risks of heavy fines, students continue to host racous house parties in an effort to turn a profit or simply have a good time with friends.
