Men's Soccer upset
The UW men's soccer team's season ended a little sooner than expected, as they lost to Michigan 1-0 at the Big Ten Tournament Thursday.
Wisconsin (9-8-2) held the No. 3 seed in the tournament but couldn't get on the board against the Wolverines (7-9-4). Chase Tennant's goal was enough to send Michigan on to the next round.
The Badgers season was surprising to some as they had a chance to win the Big Ten in their final conference game of the season.
Women's season ends too
The UW women's soccer team suffered the same fate as the men Thursday, losing to No. 17 Illinois 3-0 in the Big Ten Tournament.
The Badgers grabbed the No. 6 seed by beating Northwestern 5-0 Oct. 27, but couldn't keep their season going against the Illini
Wisconsin finished with a 7-9-3 record, taking sixth place.
