Jesse A. Miller, the 19-year-old white male responsible for the campus lockdown Sept. 25, is now in custody by the San Diego California Police Department.
Since disappearing from the campus area, police reportedly followed leads that traced Miller to San Diego. In cooperation with SDPD, the Madison Police Department investigated one of Miller's phone calls and located him in San Diego.
SDPD arrested Miller early Friday morning for violation of probation and confirmed his identity via fingerprints. The Wisconsin Division of Community Corrections issued the warrant, which was verified through the Dane County Sheriff's office.
