Members of the band Wilco will play a free Concert for Change"" in support of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama Saturday at the Wisconsin Union Theater.
Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt and Pat Sansone - o three of Wilco's six band members - o will be on hand to perform and lead a march to the city clerk's office to vote early.
U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., and U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., will join Wilco members at the event to discuss why they support Obama's policies over McCain's in the upcoming election.
Doors to the event open at 11 a.m. and the concert will begin at noon. Tickets to the event are free but required and can be picked up ahead of time at the Campaign for Change office at 216 N. Henry St. or on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the Downtown Farmer's Market on the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in front of the Risser Building.
