A UW-Madison student was a victim of battery late Friday night but reportedly had no recollection of being hit after waking up the next morning.
According to a police report, the 20-year-old victim reported the incident Monday afternoon. The victim told police he had been at a house party on Mound Street and said someone had punched him in the face. The student is unsure of whether he was hit inside or outside the party and has no memory of being hit.
The victim remembers waking up Saturday morning at his University Avenue apartment and having his roommates take him to a local hospital. The victim had two of his teeth knocked out from the battery.
There are currently no suspects in the case, but Madison police are helping the victim retrace his steps and are trying to identify others who were at the party with any information on the suspect.
