Facebook now owns the rights to content from any terminated user account.
According to new terms of service, posted Feb. 4, specific information from a user's deleted account can be still be used by the social-networking site. The rights to deleted content no longer belong to the user.
In the licenses"" section of the new terms, Facebook asserts it has the right to ""copy, publish, stream, store, retain, publicly perform or display, transmit, scan, reformat, modify, edit, frame, translate, excerpt, adapt, create derivative works and distribute"" user content.
Facebook currently has the right to change or modify its terms of use without notifying users first.
