Burglar takes laptops from home on North Mills Street

A residential burglary occurred along the 40 block of North Mills Street Monday afternoon, according to a police report.

Around 3:30 p.m., a resident of Mills Street came home to find a burglar inside his residence. As soon as he came inside, the suspect fled on foot through a patio door, the report said.

According to the victim, the thief stole several laptop computers and found a way inside by kicking in a door.

The suspect is described as a white male with shoulder-length brown hair. He is said to be wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black and red backpack, according to the report.
