UW-Madison chemistry professor Bassam Shakhashiri's 40th annual Christmas Lecture, scheduled for this weekend, will air on television in late December.
The lecture, ""Once Upon a Christmas Cheery in the Lab of Shakhashiri,"" is a presentation of various chemistry experiments and is scheduled for Dec. 5 and 6 at 4 p.m.
Tickets for the show are free for all UW-Madison students, but were sold out within days of their release on Nov. 16.
However, the lecture will air on Wisconsin Public Television on Dec. 21 at 1 p.m, Dec. 24 at 1:30 p.m. and Dec. 28 at 1 p.m.

According to a release, the show is widely popular and has received attention nationwide.
