Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker raised $1.79 million in the last nine months of 2009 according to a statement from his campaign released Saturday.
The statement reported that Walker's campaign has over $2 million on hand going into 2010.
Keith Gilkes, Walker's campaign manager, said Walker's campaign is not about ""special interest money and million dollar donations."" The report said 74 percent of Walker's donations were in increments of $50 or less.
""Our campaign is about everyday Wisconsin families scared about their jobs and family budgets,"" he said.
According to a statement from the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, Walker's most recent report shows a ""statewide lack of enthusiasm"" for Walker's campaign.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, the leading Democrat gubernatorial candidate, raised $750,000 in the final two months of 2009.
