Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents took eleven members of Madison's C14 gang into federal custody Wednesday for immigration violations.
The arrests were made ""in direct response"" to the April 28 murder a C14 gang member, Antonio Perez, 19, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
Those taken into custody for immigration violations are in the process of being deported.
There are still four other members at large. The names of the gang members arrested have not been released by authorities.
Ivan Mateo-Lozenzo, 21; Billy Wenner-Say, 23; Karen Giron-Cruz, 19; Victor Prado-Velasquez, 16; and Franklin E. Yanez, 15, were charged with being party to first-degree intentional homicide after Perez was shot dead on Madison's East Side.
All have been taken into custody except Mateo-Lozenzo and Wenner-Say who are still at large.
