State Rep. Gordon Hintz, D-Oshkosh, a vocal critic of the budget repair bill, is being faced with charges of sexual misconduct for an incident that occurred in Appleton.
""I am willing to take responsibility for my actions,"" Hintz said in a statement.
According to The Northwestern, the charge was issued Feb. 10 as part of an ongoing investigation at Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor.
Hintz said he would continue his fight against the bill.
""My concern right now is that my personal situation is distracting from the much more important issue facing our state. We have tens of thousands of working people at the Capitol every day and that must remain our focus,"" Hintz said. ""I will continue to do my job and stand up for Wisconsin's working families.""
