The Madison Police Department reported no problems or arrests at Saturday's rally on the Capitol Square.
Police estimated the crowd at the "We Are Wisconsin" rally reached 25,000-30,000 people at its peak, according to MPD Lieutenant Mary Lou Ricksecker.
Authorities said the square was closed to vehicular traffic from about 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Crowds left peacefully at 4 p.m. when the Capitol building closed, police said.
