A Madison teenager was arrested after bludgeoning a woman with a sock filled with rocks Wednesday night.
The fifteen-year-old girl was charged with “substantial battery” for beating the woman with a sock “filled with rocks,” according to Madison Police
Department Spokesperson Joel DeSpain in a statement.
The two women were arguing with one another before the attack took place at the intersection of W. Badger Road and Park Street at 11 p.m.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of her head injuries while the suspect was escorted to the Juvenile Reception Center to be placed in secure custody.
