Three suspects attack man on West Gorham street

Three suspects attacked a 19-year-old Fitchburg man on the 400 block of West Gorham street early Sunday morning.

After one of the suspects accused the victim of touching his car, two or three suspects, described as 19-to 25-year-old Asian males, pushed the man into a light pole and continued to kick him while he was on the ground, according to DeSpain.

DeSpain said the suspects ran to a silver Toyota van, which was being driven by two college-aged women.

After the victim regained consciousness, police took him to the hospital where he was treated for head injuries. according to Lt. Pat Malloy.
