A woman died after she fell from the State Street Campus Garage parking ramp Friday afternoon.
The 49-year-old woman fell from the ramp on the 400 block of North Lake street around 3 p.m., according to Madison Police Department Sgt. William Quast.
Fire rescue paramedics took her to the University of Wisconsin hospital, but she died from her injuries on the way, according to police.
“Foul play is not suspected at this time,” Quast said in a statement.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
