Over the next week the Associated Students of Madison student government will host four public forums to solicit student input on campus issues.
ASM will host a panel of campus leaders Monday who deal with issues of diversity.
Tuesday’s event will focus on campus transportation, with guests from Nelson/Nygaard, a transportation consulting firm. Students will address academic issues Wednesday with a panel of campus leaders. The week will end Thursday with a discussion of tuition and fees policy which will feature campus leaders, including a representative from the Board of Regents.
Each forum will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with Monday through Wednesday’s discussions in the Caucus Room of the Student Activity Center and Thursday’s discussion in Inn Wisconsin East of Memorial Union.
ASM Press Office Director David Gardner said ASM hopes this will be an opportunity to discuss what issues the campus feels student government should be working on.
