Man robbed at gunpoint on West Main Street

An armed suspect robbed a man at gunpoint on the 400 block of West Main Street Tuesday night, according to a police report.

The alleged thief, described in the report as a white male in his mid-twenties, reportedly followed the 29-year-old victim from his car into a building and pointed a gun at him.

The suspect then told the victim, who remained uninjured throughout the incident, to hand over the bag he was carrying, his wallet and his cell phone, according to the report.

When the victim obliged, the suspect told him to wait until he left to call the police.
