The Badger Herald announced Tuesday it will switch its production model from publishing four print editions a week to two per week, beginning in Fall 2013.
The newspaper is switching to an “online-first” production model with print issues on Mondays and Thursdays. The Herald is currently publishes Monday through Thursday.
The paper will contain more in-depth coverage of sports, opinion, arts and news in long-form as well as traditional articles, according to a press release.
Additionally, the paper will begin compensating beat writers per story once the paper makes the change to online.
