The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced the dates for four upcoming information sessions regarding the Human Resources Design project, according to a university press release Thursday.
Design project leaders will address the revised timeline for the HR Design plan and provide information about performance management, applicant tracking system and classified staff governance, according to the release.
The 2013-’15 biennial budget mandated the university create the plan to allow the university more flexibilities in recruiting, retaining and compensating its employees. The university released the plan in September 2012, which spurred a semester of discussion in university governance groups, all of which eventually voted to support the plan.
The plan would modify the benefits classified and academic staff receive and change job security provisions as well as allow for the option to pay employees based on performance.
The first information session will take place Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 9-11 a.m. at Memorial Union, and two informations will follow it Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 1-3 p.m. at Gordon Dining & Event Center and from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
The final information is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21 from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
