Madison police are continuing to investigate a shooting that took place early Sunday morning on the 100 block of East Gorham Street.
According to a Madison Police Department report, the shooting occurred shortly after 2 a.m., leaving one victim with a nonfatal gunshot wound.
The victim is a white man in his 20s, according to the report. He was brought to a nearby hospital, but police were unable to release his identity.
Police found multiple shell casings around the area, according to the report. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived and remains at large.
Police are still conducting investigations, according to MPD Sergeant Galen Wiering.
