Tuesday, Feb. 18, traffic will be closed on the 400 block of West Gilman Street between University Avenue and State Street from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., according to a press release.
Traffic will be blocked due to construction by JH Findorff and subcontractors. Workers will be pouring concrete to initiate construction for the HUB development with luxury housing and retail buildings, according to the release.
During the block closure, traffic from Broom Street going to residences and businesses at the east side of the 400 block of West Gilman Street will be allowed, according to the release.
Pedestrians and bicyclists will be allowed in the area during the closure. However, bicyclists and other motorists are strongly encouraged to find different routes to avoid any delays.
