The University of Wisconsin-Madison issued a release Sunday outlining the list of scheduled events for the Spring 2014 University Roundtable series at Union South.
The Roundtable events serve as a means of providing “engaging talks on timely, interesting topics,” according to the announcement.
The first luncheon, centered around the story behind a group of Massachusetts Institute of Technology students exploiting the Massachusetts State Lottery, will be held at Varsity Hall on Feb. 12.
The additional two events will take place on March 12 and April 9, and feature presentations on hand-blown glass and Wisconsin’s archeological history respectively. The deadline for reserving a spot at the luncheons is one week prior to the event.
All programs are open to those associated with the university, including students, and their guests.
Each event is scheduled to last from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $10, the announcement said.
