The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking nominations for the 2014 Classified Employee Recognition Award, according to a release.
The annual program rewards exemplary performance from classified staff at UW-Madison. All permanent staff who have worked at the university for three years are eligible.
Winners will receive a commemorative plaque, paid registration to an employee-development program of their choice and a cash reward. Chancellor Rebecca Blank will also honor the winners at a spring ceremony at Olin House.
Previous winners include a Facilities Planning and Management locksmith, a College of Letters and Science university services program associate and a UW Law School building manager.
Success at promoting excellence within the work unit, performing well under pressure, developing innovative solutions to everyday problems and participating in public service activities outside normal work responsibilities are factors used to evaluate candidates.
The deadline for submitting nominations is March 14.
