Nominations and applications are being accepted from University of Wisconsin-Madison campus members to fill two vice provost positions.
Steve Stern, vice provost for faculty staff, and Christopher Olsen, vice provost for teaching and learning, will be returning to the UW-Madison faculty after serving their terms.
Only tenured staff are eligible for both positions and will serve in the role for a three to five year term.
Two search committees are leading the process for filling the vice provost positions, which are comprised of professors, department chairs, student representatives and other university leaders.
The statement said the nomination process is key for developing a pool of strong applicants, as both positions are a crucial aspect of UW-Madison’s leadership structure.
The deadline for submitting applications and nominations is March 31.
