The 400 block of West Gilman Street will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
According to a city news release, the closure affects the area between University Avenue and State Street. J.H. Findorff & Sons Inc. and its subcontractors, the constructors of the HUB Development on State Street, will be pouring concrete during the closure time.
Two-way traffic from North Broom Street to residences and businesses on the east end of the 400 block of West Gilman Street will be allowed.
Pedestrians are also permitted on West Gilman Street to access all residences and businesses during closure times, according to the release.
Motorists and bicyclists are encouraged to travel different routes during the closure to avoid delays, according to the release.
