Madison police arrested 17-year-old Alan Uscanga and his 18-year-old passenger for driving while intoxicated and eluding an officer Wednesday evening.
Uscanga sped past a Madison police officer parked in his car on Hammersly Road at approximately 9:30 p.m., according to an incident report. The officer began following Uscanga when the intoxicated minor crashed his vehicle into another car driving on a roadway.
Uscanga continued driving until he crashed once again into a parked car on Loreen Drive, according to the report. The minor climbed out of his window and tried to flee from the officer on foot.
Police caught and arrested Uscanga and his passenger with charges for driving while intoxicated, eluding an officer and causing injury.
Victims involved in the accident sustained no injuries, according to the report.
