A Madison man’s intrusion woke two 22-year-old women after he entered an apartment on the 200 block of North Pinckney Street early Thursday morning, according to Madison Police Department Public Information Officer Joel DeSpain.
The man, after entering the apartment through an unlocked side door, shined a light on his face while calling out a possible name, the report said. When the two residents asked who he was, he left without taking anything.
The residents believe he had mistakenly entered the wrong apartment, according to the report.
